What is a School System Administrator (SSA) Account?

The School System Administrator (SSA) account is the highest-level administrative account for a school on the One Academy platform. It provides full oversight and control of the school’s platform setup, users, and integrations, designed for institution-level management, not day-to-day teaching.

Who should have an SSA account?

SSA accounts are typically assigned to each school and access is designated for school leadership and senior administrative roles, including:
  1. Principals
  2. Vice Principals
  3. System Administrators / IT Leads
  4. Designated Senior Administrative Staff
N.B. Imagine the SSA account as the control center for the entire school on the platform.

The primary roles of the SSA account are as follow:
  1. Managing staff and student access
  2. Monitoring school-wide activity
  3. Supporting onboarding and troubleshooting
  4. Live Timetable Access
