School System Administrator Account Password Reset (For Users)
If you wish to update the password of a user within your school (teacher/student), you can easily do so by following the steps below:
- Once you are on your school's dashboard, click the "Users" option on the left hand side of the screen
- There you will need to search for the teacher's or student's profile you wish to reset their password. In order to search for this person you will need to type their firstname. lastname (john. jones). Once you start typing their name it will populate. You will also be able to information relating to this teacher or student so you can ensure you are on the correct profile
- Click the user name once you have located the correct account and this will bring you to their profile
- Here you will see information relating to this specific user such as their name and email address. Go to the password area to generate or create a new password for this user. Once you have generated or create a new password, you'll need to retype the password once more to ensure it matches
- Click the "Update" button at the bottom of the screen and you will get a notification "Operation Completed Successful" at the bottom right corner of your screen.
- Once you have done these steps correctly, you can then provide the generated or created password to the teacher or student and advise them that once they login with this new password, it will prompt them to create a new one.
